could be christian influence but im not a fan of the hindu description of God as being posessed of opulence. majesty and auspiciousness yes, but not opulence. the Lord possesses the worlds wealth but i would never say it defines Him as an attribute (if youre into saguna brahman).

sometimes the left is quite silly with regard to israel although I agree with them in many cases. "no hebrew, dont go to the place where you have religious, ethnic, and cultural roots, you would displace the palestinians. instead, move to america, where we already displaced the native population". its paternalistic and misguided.

theres a lot I like about Advaita vedanta although I dont consider myself an advaita vedantin anymore, just a monist. one difference is I think its silly that they don't think Para Brahman knows Itself because its the only substance. I think its possible to say that Brahman is knower-knowledge-known and also all-knowing, I just think its a different definition of all-knowing thats not "knowing other different things", thats non-dual and thus even more all- encompassing.

people who think that either nirguna or saguna brahman is higher dont get it tbh. just because nirguna is more hidden and unconditioned doesnt mean its higher and just because saguna is more superlative and can dispense grace doesnt mean its higher. God is One thing!!! the Sikhs have it right.

"I AM THAT I AM" is an incredible mantra. it its ever-existent, ever-true, and contains self-knowing self-reflecting ultimate subjecthood. meanwhile the kashmir shaivis have "Aham" which has its own mystical explanation but just means "I". pure self-reflecting consciousness basically. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aham_(Kashmir_Shaivism)
