when the bhagavad gita says the three doors to hell that destroy the self are kama (desire/lust), krodha (anger), and lobha (greed), the meaning is this:
the enemy of the self is attachment to the senses, which create the illusion that one is the body and not the perfect atman.
sensory desire (the strongest of which is lust) is thus the primary enemy. greed is caused by desire because we accumulate wealth to secure access to carnal enjoyment. thus greed is the means by which desire perpetuates itself. anger is only what happens when desires are frustrated, leading to hatred and the destruction of the intellect, or evil and ignorance.
this is the purport!

for whatever reason three of my five senses are heightened at two or three times their normal peak. those being touch, smell, and taste. particularly touch and taste. its extremely distracting and applies to both desirable and noxious sensory stimuli. but the desirable reveals itself as noxious in many cases because of sheer overstimulation. honestly its very much like being sexually aroused with multiple senses, both pleasant and unpleasant, and very annoying. my entire body feels erogenous or painful or itchy, what the hell is wrong with me?

the vedantic monists say Brahman is passive, the tantric monists say Siva is active... but both passive and active imply duality! there is only Chit! this is why its best to just say God is non-dual and free. free means both free to and free from, which is the potency of dynamism and the detachment of passivity, which is also to say, God is both the ultimate agent and enjoyer and blissfully apart...
