Who the fuck thought that an AI register was a good idea
"Circle K “AI” self-checkout machine “hallucinated” that I wanted to pay over $8.5 Billion to the Red Cross..."
"Circle K swapped two registers to these AI-powered self- checkouts and only 1 guy was working and he was busy, so I attempted (again) to use one after having random items get added to my bill… usually small things that weren’t nearby to the sensor (lighters, random food items, etc.)"
