@zuki @twinspin6 everyone used to buy these really simple office calculators before smartphones too, windows hides everything more advanced behind settings. The average boomer prob doesn't know calculators can do more than subtraction addition, multiplication and division and seeing more symbols would scare them.
I do agree that a good calculator app should have more advanced features and emulators for programmable ones are a thing for a reason but it's a pretty niche usecase i think

@twinspin6 only non-basic feature i usually need are logarithms and converting between bases. If i want an actually good calculator i usually go to wolframalpha
