I really think this happened because the big shippers (like Amazon) wanted it this way for regulatory capture (to purposefully keep the little guys out).
But it's still ridiculous that the EU let this happen in this form. Carveouts for small businesses are the norm in EU legislation for exactly this reason.

@snowy chain and gears are new, it jumps between gears on the 2-3 middle most gears and yeah, cabled.
Idk how to set cable tension tbh, rear derailleur is magick to me, 2x front derailleur is easy to grok, only thing that pisses me off is that the cables just break way too fast and it gets clogged by dirt (prob what happened rn)
