@pernia but yeah isekai kindergarten georgia would be based. i was a subversive little shit then, when i was eleven i refused to participate in a walk of shame where the detention kids who missed lunch stand together at the front of the cafeteria before lunch ends, and i told other kids not to because it was public humiliation. and when i was twelve i staged a revolt of the SPEDs, we boycotted a patronizing activity where we'd say how we were feeling that day and pointed to an emotion on a chart because it was foolish and patronizing.

@pernia every time i was mean to another kid (twice) it was to impress another older kid, and i later apologized to profusely and was nice to one of them in middle school. the other one i never apologized to. she had really bad buckteethand and i sang a song about bucky the bucktooth beaver (to the tune of rudolph the rednose reindeer) to her face. her mom later talked to my mom about it and i pretended not to know what she was talking about.

@thestrongest @pernia and ugh i wouldn't say i did it to please my friend (who was only like 7 months older to be honest), though the other kids i was mean to (throwing pinecones at them and stealing their backpacks, and they never told their parents somehow and kind of looked up to me??? in part because of my spontaneous songwriting styles, i made up songs on the bus ride) was 100% following the bidding of a kid who was two years older than me (he later came out as gay, coincidence??) but i certainly wouldn't have had the courage to say it if not for another kid. i was still kind of cowardly cause now that i remember more clearly, we weren't actually addressing her, just singing the song near hear in her direction knowing she'd know it was about her. but i told my mom it wasn't about her.

@thestrongest @pernia camp counselors too holy shit. when people say they had really young crushes on peers i always think that's weird, it was always the 20some women with custodianship over me i was into. my first peer crush was on a 12 year old.
