it's always a little odd to me when someone is like "anarchism is for utopian babies but i have faith that social democracy can solve all our big problems." i understand that anarchists are supposed to be stupid kids and all but it's funny how people will go "people can never self-organize to solve problems. however they *can* self-organize to solve problems if we give some of them a gun and the ability to force their authority on others." i honestly feel like the ideologies that rely on Trusting The Guys In Charge are way more optimistic and faith-based. how does it get any easier to organize to solve problems when certain individuals are granted power that can be used to perpetuate problems for their own benefit
