@lucy its simple. Whatever i am good, whatever jabronis are bad hehe
@georgia@netzsphaere.xyz @vriska@lizards.live INFP when depressed, INTP otherwise (or at least that is how i always tested)
@anemone @vriska you know damn well this doesn’t fit in a fedi post smh
etc.
it’s a long and complex process but ultimately it has made me much more outgoing and confident. i love being around people now instead of it just being scary or draining no matter who i’m with
@mia@movsw.0x0.st @vriska@lizards.live what does defeating your inner critic mean? unfortunately #3 isn't possible for me
@anemone @vriska not convincing yourself of things like this, for instance
the inner critic is that little voice in your head that relentlessly shames and blames you for every tiny little thing that’s not going well in your life. that tells you that you’re worthless and lazy; that you shouldn’t even try because you’ll just prove how much you suck at everything you do. it’s also the voice of perfectionism that doesn’t know the concept of “good enough”.
@mia@movsw.0x0.st @vriska@lizards.live i do try though and im still miserable lol
@bot elaborate. what are some of my delusions? what about my social behavior is inappropriate? in what ways am i harming myself?
@bot fine.
delusions are by definition not something i could be aware of myself, so i cannot answer the first question.
i’m not aware of inappropriate social behavior given that i seem to be well-liked in general. also keep in mind that i’m in the part of germany where people will relentlessly berate you over minor transgressions, and so far i’ve only heard compliments about my conduct.
i do not engage in self-harm.
@bot well, i’m not in berlin. i’m on HRT but i have an intersex condition (partial androgen insensitivity) so i’d feel like shit without it for physiological reasons alone
@bot it’s also quite probable that i have two distinct sets of chromosomes due to some other peculiarities but i didn’t have that tested yet
@bot the intersex condition certainly isn’t a delusion but part of my medical record, and the mosaicism (which is actually fairly common in humans but usually goes unnoticed) is just a possibility that’d explain things about my body and doesn’t really matter outside the context of medical interventions
