@technicallydifficult Jesus's law of love and Krishna's highest dharma are really instructive here. love God with all your heart, surrender to God, make all things an offering to God, and sin can't touch you.

@technicallydifficult I think youre overcomplicating things a lot by looking for "a correct way to follow God that will make Him/Her pleased". highest dharma is to abandon all dogma and ritual and to simply worship and love God with all your heart and soul as He/She loves you. if you love God and surrender to God you cannot be in error unless you hurt others or yourself. you know God exists, you seek to please God, so you already follow the true religion. all religious paths undertaken in this spirit lead to God, this cannot be contested.

@technicallydifficult I genuinely think some religious texts are divine in origin, partially if not completely. and I also genuinely believe in private revelation of the saints. the existence of a creator God is obvious, but somewhat less obvious is that God has not abandoned His creation. if you really want a mystical experience that proves the existence of the numinous beyond reproach, then I recommend yoga.

@technicallydifficult I have a lot of religious dreams some prophetic or otherwise guiding and symbolic and other religious experiences including physical sensations which often take the form of a strong warmth and a feeling of loving happiness, like the sun inside you. but I think its genuinely divine in origin.
