@sathariel @meowski @sampler @unmind this seems wise but full enlightenment has telltale signs, not just extraordinary siddhis which are often obstacles to yoga but freedom from anger, fear, and attachment, indescribable bliss, and in many traditions omniscience or a degree of it.

I know I read tarot (ahem and futhark and lenormand and I ching and oracle belline and...) but i was never new age except briefly at age 14 when i got into sacred geometry and astral projection. when I got into tarot at age 24 I was a chaomagickian who borrowed from thelema and was an arrogant monist. now that was cringe! God disabused me quite vehemently.

I understand agnosticism but not atheism. I was only briefly an atheist, in the part of my life where I thought I was smartest. funny

@sampler @meowski @sathariel youre correct the highest samadhi is sahaj samadhi in my understanding. patanjali describes the types of samadhi in his raja yoga sutras

@sathariel @meowski @sampler @unmind I mean the question is are you fully enlightened if you still reincarnate? I think in theory yes but from looking at the dalai lama, no. maybe zen is better than vajrayana though idk

@sathariel @meowski @sampler @unmind zen buddhism has a different approach to theravada or hindu yoga because they aim to reincarnate and while zen buddhism involves loss of ego they regain their ego for the benefit of all beings. is my understanding at least. zen sees no difference between samsara and nibbana and thus prefers samsara because while embodied you can help others discover their buddhahood.

@unmind evil is just part of Gods lila yes, and in that regard is created by God along with maya. but God is perfectly good and upholds dharma and is averse to adharma. and all things proceed from God and cannot occur without Gods will. and yet God gives us free will which is where evil comes from...
