the english wikipedia article of the bhagavad gita treats it so critically, calling it casteist. imagine if it did the same for christian scripture, calling it sexist or what have you. in contrast more niche hindu articles sound like they were written by devotees, like this one.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sripada_Sri_Vallabha

shruti is such a bizarre category and I dont think any other religion has it. authorless and preserved by oral tradition. instead of most scripture, authored by God (of course later hindus believe the vedas were authored by God) and passed on in written form. likewise no other religion I know of has anything quite like mimamsaka school. although the saducees were like them in superficial ways. I would say the vedas are inspired by God and revealed to seers and the bhagavad gita was inspired by krishna (God) and revealed to vsaya at least in legend.
