I lied, the lobotomy patient I was thinking of was 12, not fifteen, and it was in 1960 so late but not the latest. I wasnt sure so I looked it up. its such a nefarious thing to do to anyone let alone a child. and it was all due to his stepmother being evil. fuck all that

any claim lobotomy could ever have to being just a misguided form of early psychosurgery was permanently vitiated by its known severe side effects early on including as high as a 20 percent chance of death. and after knowing all this "ice pick lobotomies" became the most popular form of lobotomy and were performed without even seeing the affected brain tissue and by barely trained practitioners. nothing about lobotomy was good, you might as well cut the legs off of someone with restless leg syndrome. at least they become more passive and easy to control!

this is libshitty but I wish people didn't say they "need/want a lobotomy". lobotomy was a very brutal way to control the mentally different without actually improving their condition. it was one of the worst forms of violence ever perpetuated against the mentally ill and even the merely somewhat subversive. one of the last lobotomies was performed on a neurotypical fifteen year old boy just because of overblown behavioral issues. it honestly disgusts me.

@nerthos @Oughtism the next generation of american jews will be either entirely reform or reconstructionist or atheist apart from a few enclaves, at least half will intermarry. whitenats talk about survival of their people but dont realize that the jewish people will not survive outside of Israel and a few ghettoes in other countries. ironically the only thing that could stop the process of assimilation is a persecution.
