hell I havent updated my phones OS in 7 years because after updating to 15 it soft bricks when a SIM card is in. but when I put my SIM card in my new sailfish phone and after backing up and putting the backup on my future working puter I'm considering updating android versions.... although, I'm pretty sure android has gone downhill since 9, so maybe not!

my partition data is probably intact, but theres really nothing important that I can't spin up in ten minutes. I'd rather they just wipe it and put tahoe on it so I can start over and do it right this time and hopefully I dont end up with two fedoras

ive literally bricked almost every device ive owned since I started modifying them myself. I always seem to fuck up before getting it right.

for some reason my mom thinks they won't help me fix this issue (firmware reinstall + os reinstall/factory reset) because I modified the software which is just an inexplicable position. of course they'd help restore a mac, they'd do most things to a mac for a price.
