Do others of the queer/trans catholic cabal on here desire something more from the church/community?
I want something and I don't know if I want a social group or a theology discussion group or a message board for internet schizos. Curious if others have thought about this.
Considering organizing something if I can figure out what the hell to organize.

so far my hymn doesnt really talk about devas. it just says god is manifest in many forms basically. i honestly dont really care about forms of God that aren't Supreme. like who cares about fucking Indra anymore? I'd rather talk about Shiva and Vishnu and Durga. I think I'll introduce devas with something like "You are lauded in the praise-songs of celestial beings, oh enhancer of the fame of the worlds."

lemme be real I hate philosophies that say God needed to manifest in some way to "know Himself". God is all-knowing. God is already completely self-satisfied (which is why He so often involutes), but She creates out of lila. pure joy in being is what motivated God to want to be limited and discrete things!

hindus are spoiled with a huge "canon" of religious texts to chose to believe in but for every isha upanishad or bhagavad gita you get a "that chapter from the bhagavata purana where every one of krishnas 16,008 wives lights themselves on fire"

its cool how sanskrit is a common vocabulary for many indian languages. more reason to learn it

I'm a monist but I really like ramanuja too. my big difference is I believe every soul is just as infinite as God is (like the full out of the full), not merely parts. also that souls are all the same, and only separated as ether in a pot. but at the same time I do view souls as being individual parts of Gods body in a way.

God isnt all things, God encompasses and transcends all things. All things are God. God defies the symmetric property of equality basically. Because math isnt the ultimate truth, Brahman is.

almost no one translates the bhagas correctly when they say shri just means beauty or aishvarya just means wealth or yashas just means fame or virya means strength smh
