deleted my pdf of the uddhava gita. I didnt enjoy it, and it even advocates a form of suicide by self immolation for old yogis-in-progress. in comparison to the avadhuta gita not to mention the bhagavad gita it really isnt great. theres so much fucking self immolation in the bhagavata purana it sucks.

the avadhuta gita is very big on "if everything is light, neither darkness nor light exist" style claims and its hard to wrap my brain around even though "without evil theres no good" is easy to understand.

honestly the avadhuta gita is pretty peak as far as jnana yoga goes... however in kaliyug only truly special people are fit for liberation by its mantras alone

void is mentioned a lot in the avadhuta gita... kinda shunya pilled. I hate when brahman is described as void without also describing it as full.

"Brahman is free of duality and non-duality" this one ive never heard before lol. its true though... and not just in a "the non-dual nirguna thing underlying all this manifoldness" way. it is One but one is alone and only, which implies a lack of others. it lacks nothing, and there is nothing else. and it is beyond something and nothing. it is pure Being, and transcends that too...
