@coolbean somw woods need to be dried fast, some super slow. Iirc some you even want to wax over the cuts so it dries as slow as possible

@coolbean was about to say you should look up how to dry it if you wanna buy fresh logs but seems you already do.
Complete logs are prob best if you want really high quality wood tbh since most commercial wood is dried badly and has cracks everywhere or cut in whatever way it fit in the machine

@coolbean and everything we traditionally made bows of is actually only good for selfbows, what i wanted to build was bamboo hardwood laminate and you're limited to stuff that comes from america for some reason there. That's how i found out how amazing robinia is mechanically
